Stag Party was a musical variety show produced in Vancouver. One member of the cast was Alan Young, who was only 15 when he was first featured. In fact, in 1940, it evolved into the Alan Young show, which was sponsored by Buckingham cigarettes, whose commercials were voiced for years by announcer Herb May. The cast also included Bernie Braden, a 17-year-old Juliette, and Louise Grant. When the production moved to Toronto, Juliette stayed in the west, and songs were sung by Charlie Jordan. By 1944, Alan Young had been lured south of the border for his own show sponsored by Bristol Myers.
