Produced during the war by Lowney's Chocolate, the series
featured Sergeant Pearce riding across our vast domain by
whatever means seemed appropriate: horseback, dog sled, boat, or
plane.
"Oh, the Men in Scarlet ever on the alert to keep law and
order and maintain the right."
The program also featured the Lowney's Young Canada Club.
Director Harry (Red) Foster was famous for his pep talks to his
young listeners.
"A little boy
A pair of skates
A hole in the ice
He saw it too late
The story ends at the Golden Gates."
